Actually everything was really good, my next choice again in Appleby-in-Westmorland.

My favourite property in Appleby-in-Westmorland. I liked staff and rooms here.

The bed was very uncomfortable here.

My stay here was pleasant. I loved the hotel, it was quaint and fairly clean with a small garden.

It was an unusual place. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room itself was excellent. Location: the hotel was close to centre of town, the train station and center. The service was good, including brilliant staff and an amazing bar.

The check-in was smooth, we appreciated English bar. We got a superior king room which was fully furnished. Breakfast was hot, a great selection of food, small balcony. The beach nearby was lovely and the view was magnificent. Accommodating service during our very relaxing stay.

Had welcoming double room with great views, great facilities, as for instance. The restaurant was good, friendly service, outstanding food. Unbeatable location, 5 minutes' walk to st lawrence's church.

Friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff. I loved having central heating, an iron and a work desk. Fresh made breakfast, welcoming service. Spacious bed & perfect position. It was also close to a pub which has exceptional food.

Savoury breakfast, efficient location, clean place overall. The units are fine, light. Unobtrusive staff, TRULY MEMORABLE stay. We loved the local beach, it is located near the venue.

Second to none food and staff, I really enjoyed it. The room was very very comfy, lovely bed. The staff did all they can for a fab stay. This hotel was in a domestic area. Also, distance to an Appleby castle was only 1 km. Quick check-in, late check-out.

There were good location and staff, and everything was tidy. The food choices were alright. Truly enjoyed the fact that the bathroom was clean.

Maybe the street, it was noisy.

Nothing compares to Royal Oak Appleby. We liked this place, it has great service and staff. You'll need 10 minutes to walk to Tufton Arms Hotel with nice drinks. Room was large for us: D

We appreciated it, especially its location and food. We had a town house with a view to the garden. The hotel is in the lake district.

Amazing location and good rates. The hotel was only 1 km from Courtyard Gallery. Would definitely recommend this venue. Room met requests.
